“I set about re-designing a can opener to suit different people’s physical needs. I was looking into people who suffer from arthritis that find it difficult to open cans. This lead me on to develop a series of can openers which not only fulfilled one need but developed into a more universally designed product. This still a developing project which I hope to carry on designing into more robust materials.”
